<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the City Council of the <br />City of Centerville held a regular meeting (rescheduled from <br />November 27, 1991) on Monday, November 23, 1991 at City Hall. <br />Mayor Buckbee called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Present: <br />Wilharber, Pelton, Burgstahler, Daria. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Pelton to table discussion of <br />pending minute approval, motion carried unanimously_ <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Flood Plain Reduction <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Wilharber to adopt a Resolution <br />authorizing a revised petition to the Rice Creek Watershed <br />District for the Clear Water Creek Flood Plain Reduction Project, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Municipal Facility Site <br />Motion by Burgatahler, second by Wilharber to approve a lot split <br />for 23-31-22-13-0001 contingent upon an acceptable closing on the <br />property; the area north of the creek will become City property <br />and the area south of the creek would remain with Russell <br />Almendinger, motion carried unanimously_ <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />~an.d~serYation Act ~91 <br />The City Council reviewed a handout on the Wetland Conservation <br />Act of 1991: the Interim Program. A copy of this handout is on <br />file wi th the Clerk/'Administrator. <br /> <br />John Stewart, City Engineer advised that the <br />moratorium on actions that would destroy wetlands. <br />it would be advisable at some time in the future <br />committee to review wetland impacts in Centerville. <br /> <br />Act puts a <br />He noted that <br />to set up a <br /> <br />Citizen of the Year <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Dario that per the recommendation <br />of the Centerville Economic Development Task Force, the recipient <br />of the Citizen of the Year Award will be Walter Neumann, motion <br />carried unanimously_ <br /> <br />Business Person of the Year <br />Motion by Dario, second by Wilharber that per the recommendation <br />of the Centerville Economic Development Task Force, the recipient <br />of the Business Person of the Year Award will be Gerald Rehbein <br />of L & G Rehbein, motion carried unanimously_ <br /> <br />PAYMENT OF CLAIMS <br />Motion by Burgatahler, second by Wilharber to approve the current <br />payment of claims of the City of Centerville, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Pelton, second by Wilharber to approve the current <br />payment of claims of the Centennial Fire District, motion carried <br /> <br />i <br />1 <br />~ <br />
