Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the City Council of the
City of Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday,
October 9, 1991 at the City Hall. He advised that he felt that the $75,000.00 offer was as
high as the City should go and that Mr. Almendinger~s request for
the City to absorb the green acres on the 1977 Sewer Assessment
drove the price above the $75,000.00 offer. He advised that he
could not see spending the money on a new property when the City
already has a site in hand.

Council member Burgstahler appeared to feel the Almendinger
property was a good piece of land.
-In buying the Almendinger property the City would end up
with two sites thus getting something extra for the
money spent.
-He did like the Almendinger site better.
-To spend money on the Sheehy property would not give the
City as many advantages as it would on the Almendinger
property.
-The purchase of the property, well and tower unit was a
good use of Tax Increment Financing monies.
-If the City were going to acquire a piece of property for
the Municipal Facility/Tower/Well Site the Almendinger
property was the better location.
-The congestion at the current City Hall site is very real.
-He cautioned the City Council to not diminish the value of
