<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the City Council of the <br />City of Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday <br />September 25, 1991 at the City Hall. Mayor Buckbee called the <br />meeting to order at 7:10 p.m. Present: Dario, Wilharber. <br />Absent: Burgstah~er, Pelton. <br /> <br />Mayor Buckbee asked the Council members present if there was any <br />objections for additions to the agenda of the following: <br />Request for Block Party - Mike Davis, 7156 Brian Drive <br />Appearance of Dan Henderson, Centerville Police Liaison <br />the City Council members present did not appear to object to the <br />additions to the agenda. Mayor Buckbee noted that the additional <br />agenda items would be allowed, but noted that there is a protocol <br />to be followed and in the future the Clerk/Administrator should <br />be contacted in a timely fashion to be included on a City Council <br />agenda. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Dario to table the August 14, 1991 <br />City Council meeting minutes due to a concern expressed by a <br />resident, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Dario <br />1991 Budget working session meeting <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />to approve the August 21, <br />minutes, motion carried <br /> <br />Motion by Daria, second by Wilharber to approve the August 28, <br />1991 Budget working session and regularly scheduled meeting <br />minutes, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Dario, second by Wilharber to table the approval of the <br />September 11, 1991 meeting minutes, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />APPEARANCES <br /> <br />Mike Hu~hes. TransDortation/Safetv Mana~er Centennial Schools- <br />reauest for "One Wav" and "No ParkinQ" on Westview east of <br />Centerville Road from 3:00 D.m. - 3:30 D.m. on days when school <br />is in session. <br />Mike HughesJ Centennial Schools Transportation/Safety Manager, <br />appeared before the City Council to request that Westview Street <br />be closed to east bound traffic and eliminate parking on the <br />south side of Westview Street between 3:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Mr <br />Hughes detailed his request in a letter and diagram dated <br />September 18J 1991. <br /> <br />Mr. Hughes stated that the school would be responsible for <br />informing the parents and would also post "NO PARKING SIGNS". <br /> <br />Circle Pines/Lexington Police Chief David VanBurkleo addressed <br />the subject of the parking in a memo dated September 17J 1991. <br />Chief VanBurkleo recommended that the City cooperate with Mr. <br />Hughes' request. <br />
