He then suggested Council discuss when it is appropriate to change the date
of a Council meeting and setting a regular day for workshops.

Council Member Nelson inquired as to the costs to publish the agenda for the Council
meeting. Mr. March explained publishing legal notices is expensive and stated he is not
sure how much it would cost to publish the Council agenda.

Mayor Swedberg asked Mr. Wilharber his opinion on how to get the word out to people
on Council meeting dates. Mr. Wilharber stated that people are creatures of habit and do
not like when the schedule changes. He suggested picking a date and time and sticking
with that barring an emergency.

Mayor Swedberg noted Council had decided the second and fourth Wednesdays would
remain the days for the Council meetings.

Mayor Swedberg noted the notice in the paper should be the same as what is put on the
cable access channel. He also suggested advertising the committee meetings and
including the topic for the meeting.

Council Member Capra suggested Staff look into the cost to list the topic of the meeting
in the newspaper.
