<br />City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />April 23, 2003 <br />Council Member Lee asked whether the filing fees were collected for all of the lots. Ms. <br />Paulseth indicated that the developer had been billed for those fees. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Broussard Vickers. seconded bv Council Member <br />Capra to approve Resolution #03-027 as presented. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />8. Mr. Hanzal's Request to Purchase & Remove Cabinetry at 7073 and 7075 <br />Centerville Road <br /> <br />Mr. Hanzal offered $250 for the cabinets at 7073 and 7075 Centervi1le Road. <br /> <br />Council Member Lee asked what is so special about the cabinets that Mr. Hanzal would <br />want them. Mr. Banzal indicated they are better than the cabinets he now has and did not <br />want them to go to waste sitting there. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Capra. seconded bv Council Member Broussard <br />Vickers to approve Mr. Banzai's otTer to purchase the cabinets at 7073 and 7075 <br />Centerville Road for $250 with proof of indemnity. AU in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimouslv. <br /> <br />9. Pavilion/Warming House Remodeling <br /> <br />Council Member Capra indicated that she asked that this be placed on the agenda for <br />discussion. <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney indicated that a year ago he was working for somebody else and he did a <br />bid for the warming house for doing the roof and the re~roof at that time for a 25 year, 3~ <br />tab shingle tear off and replacement that did not include replacing any rotted roof boards <br />was $4,485 for labor and material. He then indicated he had spoken to the Lions Club <br />and had gotten feedback that the Lions are interested in getting started with at least a <br />picnic pavilion this year and have a plan that was presented to a contractor and they are <br />waiting for a bid on the concrete portion before figuring out the total price of the <br />structure. <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney indicated the Lions would like to have the City purchase the materials <br />necessary and the Lions would donate the labor to put the roof on. He then indicated that <br />the Lions are waiting for further information on the plan for the pavilion structure and <br />would be presenting that to the City as soon as it is available. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra asked if the Lions would like to add onto the warming house. <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney indicated that the plan the Lions are working on does not include adding <br />onto the warming house because there are issues with the location such as the drainage <br />ditch and the fact that the building is too far from the soccer and baseball fields.
