The City ofCenterville June 12,2003 through June 25, 2003 Claims for Approval <br />2. Centennial Fire District Claims <br />3. Resolution #03-035 Participation in a Hazard Mitigation Planning Process with <br />Anoka County <br /> <br />Council Member Lee requested that Item 3 be removed for discussion. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member CaDra. seconded bv Council Member Lee to aDDrove <br />Consent Al!enda Items 1 and 2 as Dresented. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimouslv. <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes explained that the Hazard Mitigation Planning Process Resolution had <br />been brought forward by Fire Chief Bennett and would allow the City to participate in <br />Hazmat at the County level. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member CaDra. seconded bv Council Member Lee to approve <br />Resolution #03-035. a Resolution of Participation in a Hazard Mitil!ation Planninl! <br />Process with Anoka County. All in favor. Motion carried unanimouslv. <br /> <br />V. AWARDSIPRESENTATIONS/APPEARANCES <br /> <br />1. Northland Securities <br /> <br />Mr. Eilertson reviewed the bond sale results for Council indicating that Northland <br />Securities was the low bidder. He then explained that Northland Securities was required <br />to submit a bid 15 minutes before the sale in order to avoid any impropriety. <br /> <br />Page 2 of 12 <br />
