Pavement Management Study <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Caora. seconded by Council Member Broussard <br />Vickers to table the oavement manaS!ement study to the work session if time allows. <br />All in favor. Motion carried unanimouslv. <br /> <br />3. Request for Overweight Permit - 7067 Goiffon Road <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated the resident was in to request an overweight permit and she <br />was out at a conference so it was added to the Council's agenda. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra asked if the City Engineer had a preference for a specific street. <br /> <br />City Engineer Peterson recommended using Heritage. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Caora. seconded by Council Member Broussard <br />Vickers to aoorove the temoorarv overweiS!ht oermit for 7067 GoitTon Road for a <br />total of 4 trucks at 7 tons each and request that he use the oermit for Hent--- <br />Street. AD in favor. Motion carried unanimouslv. <br /> <br />4. Purchase of a New Copy Machine & Folding Machine <br /> <br />Council Member Lee asked if these machines were budgeted for. <br /> <br />Ms. Paulseth indicated they are working on the capital improvement plan right now and <br />there is money in the capital projects fund for this year or next year. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra indicated there is also approximately $7,000 left over from the <br />Week in Review. <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated the copy machine at City Hall would be used at Public <br />Works. <br /> <br />Ms. Paulseth indicated the machines would be purchased through the cooperative <br />purchasing bids process. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Caora. seconded by Council Member Broussard <br />Vickers to aoorove the ourchase of a new coovioS! machine and a foldinS! and <br />stamnS! machine in an amount not to exceed $23.000. <br /> <br />Council Member Lee asked whether it would be possible to eliminate or lower the <br />amount of the service contract for the existing machine when it is moved to Public <br />Works. <br /> <br />Page 9 of 14 <br />
