<br />Centerville City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />February 26, 2003 <br /> <br />III. APPROVAL OF COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br />1. Februarv 12. 2003 Council Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney requested the following changes: On Page 4 of 15 correct the spelling of <br />Kieselhorst throughout the document. Indicate the Lions did not run the festival in 2001 <br />it was run by the Committee but there was $20,000 raised. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra requested the following change: On Page 4, second paragraph, <br />third line remove "be done to." <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney requested the following changes: On Page 5 of 15 under the vote further <br />clarify that he abstained within the motion paragraph. On Page 6 of 15, third paragraph <br />change the information on cost reduction for the City billing to read that Waste <br />Management had indicated there would be a reduction in the cost for service if the City <br />were to take on the billing for garbage service. On Page 7 of 15 indicate he voted against <br />the contract. On Page 9 of 15 add that he had asked that the reconstruction be added as a <br />possible alternate to the contract. On Page 11 of 15 change "the" to "then". On Page 13 <br />of 15 change recognition to "dinner". On Page 14 of 15 indicate that Mayor Sweeney <br />had said that the City will pay for employee and spouses meals. On Page 14 of 15 add <br />"with Lino Lakes, Circle Pines, and Lexington Councils." <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lee. seconded by Council Member Capra to approve <br />the Council Meetine: Minutes for February 12. 2003 as amended. All in favor. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />IV. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />1. The City of Centerville February 13, 2003 through February 26, 2003 Claims for <br />Approval <br />2. Centennial Fire District Claims <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers asked for clarification on the Northern Forest and <br />Richard Carlson claims. <br /> <br />Finance Director Paulseth indicated that the Mr. Richard Carlson payment was approved <br />by Council at the last meeting and is a final payment. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra indicated that the Northern Forest payment is a TIF payment. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers. seconded by Council Member <br />Capra to approve the Consent Ae:enda as presented.
