City of Centerville
March 27,2002
Council Minutes

City Attorney Hoeft indicated he had provided Mr. Rehbein's attorney with a template of
the developer's agreement and understood that he would be drafting the document.

Council Member Broussard Vickers indicated that the Park and Recreation Commission
had heard that the County had obtained the funding necessary to widen County Road 14
and is suggesting that, in lieu of installing the trail, Mr. Rehbein provide a monetary
equivalent to the City for use on a trailway in another location.

Mr. Rehbein asked if there is a standard per foot cost for the trailway.

Mr. Rehbein indicated he would like to come in for his grading permit before recording
the final plat because by the end of May he will have paid off the contract for deed and
there will not be a need to mail documents across the country for signatures.

City Attorney Hoeft indicated he had discussed the matter with Mr. Rehbein's attorney
and has no issue with it. He then commented that the owners of the property incur some
liability in that dirt is being moved and costs incurred before the property has completely
changed hands.

Council Member Capra asked whether Mound Court is the size of a City street. Mr.
Peterson indicated that it met city street requirements.

Council Member Nelson asked if Mr. Rehbein was going to want an overweight permit.
Mr. Rehbein indicated he would be attempting to obtain an access permit from Anoka
County.

Mayor Swedberg asked Mr. Rehbein to ensure that none of the houses would be closer to
the lake than 75 feet.

Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated she had received an e-mail from the Fire Chief concerning
the location of the hydrants and noted she would pass the information along to the
engineer and the developer.

Mr. Rehbein asked if it would be possible to receive a vote on the final plat.

City Attorney Hoeft indicated Council could do so conditioned on approval of the
developer's agreement. He then asked if the City Engineer had reviewed the fmal plat.
Mr. Peterson indicated he did not have any issues with the plat.

Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers. seconded by Council Member
Nelson to approve the final plat for The Shores subject to final en&ineerina approval
and approval of the developer's a~reement.
