Resolution #02-005 Ordering TJ.WMvement and Pre.paration of Plans - The Shores <br /> <br />This item was heard under The Shores watermain extension discussion. <br /> <br />3. Joel McPhersoJ!.. Public Works - Successful CODlPletionofFirst Year of <br />EDlPloyment with the City of Centerville <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated Mr. Palzer had done a performance evaluation and it was <br />satisfuctory. She then indicated this matter is a request to proceed to the next pay level <br />per the union contract. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Capra. seconded by CouDeil Member NelsoD to <br />authorize aD increase for Mr. MePhenon per the union contract. AD in favor. <br />MotioD earried uDaDimously. <br /> <br />4. Ordinance #4 A1nendq1ents <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg said he would like to sit with the P~nning and Zoning Commi~n to <br />discuss the volume of changes to the Ordinance. <br /> <br />Council Member Nelson indicated she had questions concerning the changes. <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg indicated he would like to know why the changes are being made rather <br />than just looking at a strikeout and noted an explanation would have been more helpful. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers indicated that most of the changes involve <br />clarification and said most of the language in the connnercial and industrial sections <br />came from Mr. Palzer. <br /> <br />Mr. PaJzer indicated that some of the items used to be in the old Ordinance #4 but were <br />left out and he is recommending including the language again. <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg indicated he was not sure what was being fixed and why it was being <br />fixed and would like more of an explanation. <br /> <br />Page 16of24 <br />
