Trail grant:

Engineer Mark Statz suggested that the Council prioritize segments of trails in order to
focus on what will be included in the trail grant project. City Attorney Glaser
discouraged the informal voting process that Mark proposed as a potential problem in a
work session where voting doesn't occur. The map and project segment list will be sent
to each council members and Park and Rec members to select five preferred project
components. Those most preferred segments would likely be part of a trail project. The
map and list will also be put on the City's web site in order to allow the public to
comment, if they wish.

City Code:

The Council discussed draft revisions to City Code Chapters 10-94. City Attorney Glaser
reviewed sections that are proposed to change. Some sections of Chapter 51 will not be
changed as previously suggested, as they could conflict with Minnesota Health
Department rules on well drilling. Another work session will be scheduled later to
review Chapters 100-156.

The meeting was adjourned at approximately 9:35 p.m.

Dallas Larson, Administrator

( I
