Unfinis!tad business of last meet.ing <br />was discussed and Fran Burque Mayor reported that he had checked with Anoka as to <br />the correctness of the description of the Village Hall of Ce~tarville at Anoka and <br />fo~~d it correct o~.the reoords there. Fran Burque Mayor also stated he had not <br />had a ~hanfa to tatl.c with ~Yayne iJlletterlind Constable of Centerville as to whether he <br />would aooept the Dog Catchers job. He stated that Wayne Wetterlind had complained <br />that he thought the rate of Pay for poiicing furnishing his own oar was not adequate <br />and should be more. He has been reoeiving $3.00 per hour heretofore, furnishing <br />his own car for policL'1g. )\,iotion was made by Cecil La ~~otte seconded by Melvin <br />Dupre t11at Fran Burqua Ilfayor talk with Wayne Wetterlin1' and offer hill $4.00 par hour <br />hhereaf'tar for polioing and usa of his car. This was passed unanimounsly. <br /> <br />Latter was reoaiv~d from ~1aom.i Zelinka Clerk of Lino Le.kesaskL.~g for information <br />on the Fire oontraot now in force between Villaga of Cantsrville and Lino Lakes. <br />She asked data of contract and vlhel1 the payments 'lfere due and amount 8.S stated in <br />oontraot. Clark La Londe was instruoted to write her stating that the Standbys <br />Fea or $1800;00 is the rate che.rgad for fighting Grass fires and being 8.vailable ' <br />when needed but that an additional oharge of $75.00 per hour is charged for fighting <br />fires in buildings. mreasurer Ruth Knabe reported that payments made last year <br />were on 3-30-64 and 10-19-64. The oontract states that the $650.00 semi annual fee~ <br />shall be paid On January 1st and July 1st of year. <br /> <br />John Peterson advised the co~~oil that some Villages have passed ordinanoes that before <br />dog licenses are issued that dogs should be ex~ined and have shots given for rabies. <br />This would be the duty of tbe pwners of dogs and oertificates of shots given by soma <br />qualified person before lioenses are issued. This was discussed but no aotion <br />taken. <br /> <br />Clark La Lands instruoted to call attorney Jim Meyers about r,aturning the maps given <br />him asking hLm for his opinion on the resolutions and speoifications of highway 35E <br />to be buil-b thrc;>ugh the ea.stern part of Village of' Centerville.
