LundheiJ <br />be contacted. <br /> <br />(- <br /> <br />Mayor Fran Burqua stated he had bean called to Anoka for a meeting regarding Government <br />aid to flooded areas and that inanmuch as Anoka County was deolared a disaster area <br />that the villages a.nd other governing boarcs throughout the oounty state the amount <br />d~ma@9s they had already suffered and that they put in a olaim for Federal aid as offered <br />Mayor Burque was acc~~panied by Ceoil La Motte at this meatin~! The Village has <br />suffered some damage and Mayor Burque ha~ already astablished1Jt this meeting. John <br />Peterson Couoilman showed pictures he had taken o~ dama~ to hisproperty by the flood- <br />ing of the ditoh that goes though his property. The damage included the washing out <br />of a orossing used on his land and other damage.. He requested that Mayor Fran Burque <br />sea County Engineer I,.undhaim for a survey of this damage by viewing the dalTle.{,~. <br /> <br />Clerk Fred J. La Lende resigned his position as Village Clerk due to illness and other <br />personal reasons. ~e4~/~;6~B/~,~~ made' a motion that Roger Happy be appointed <br />as Clerk to fulfill the unexpired tam of former clerk. This motion was seconded <br />by John Peterson, pas~unanimously. New Clerk was sworn in by to~er olerk <br />Fred La LonKa who then presented him with a Certifioate of appointment. <br /> <br />Received from the County fA check for $302.15 for taxes withheld. from taxes. A oheck <br />for $1.60 was race ived f'rol"tha Anoka Co Farm Bureau for dividends.
