Minut~s ot meeting held October 14th. 1964 were read and approved by moti~_ ot Melvin Dupre seoonded by John Peterson. All in favor. Unfiniahed business of last mee"ting discussed. - The Liability polioy of the st. Paul Fire & )J!ar~ Co.. . issued through" the First State Bank of Hugo was again disoussed. It was agreed by the Co~oil that the Village should be covered by a liability policy but the policy does not read that the Baseball Field and the Skating rink is covered although the bank state.s that t.lte liability would cover these two activities. It is understood that the policy does not at present cover the bathing beaoh and would not oover this s.cti vity untiltha insurance company inspected the bsach and surroundings. This part not being used at this time was considered not neoessary at this t~e end before the bathing season .oommences nexb spring it will be 100ked into. Motion by John Peterson seoonded by Cecil La Motte that policy be aooepted as par recanmend4tion of Village Attorney Jim Mey~rs. A:,ll in tavor. Ruth Knabe raool'!ln1ended that soma sort of streS1i light be installed in front of the Village Hall. She stated tha"t the Norhtern states Power advertises that they will- install a light in front of homes for $3.50 par month. Clerk Fred La LOllda instruc~ad to inquire of Northern ste.tes Paver suoh a light.. T.he matter ot Centerville Village joining up with Lino Lakes, Cirole Pines and Lexington in the ne,,'V Municipal Court was again discussed. This matter was disoussed e.-I; the last maa"ting but was ta.bled.. Attar discussion of the advantages and dis- advantages to the Viliage of Centarville it was agreed that Centerville would not ma-cerially benefit b)l ou~ joing this Munioipal Court and that we remain out of it and continue with the Justice of the Peace plan. Motion by Ceoil La Motte seconded by John.
