<br />June 12, 1963 <br /> <br />The regular monthly meeting of the Villiage of Centervil1e was held on Wednesday, <br />June 12, 1963. Those present were: Bilrque, Mayor <br />Peterson, Councilman <br />LaMotte, C.ouncilman <br />Dupre, C.ouncilman <br />. B"ourquin, Clerk <br /> <br />( <br /> <br />The minutes were read for the regular meeting of May 8, and the special meeting <br />held May 21, and also a special meeting held on June 4. A motion made by <br />DUpre and seconded by Peterson that the minutes be approved as read, so carried. <br /> <br />New business: <br /> <br />A.petitionto have a street light at the end of Pelter Lake Drive #1 was submitted <br />to ,the council. A.motion by Peterson and seconded by Bourquin to accept the <br />the petition so carried. Bourquin to notify Northern S'tates Power to' have a <br />s~reet light put in. <br /> <br />The motion was made by Peterson and seconded by DUpre that the clerk should <br />write to Lino Lake Villiage Council to have the street name changed on the road <br />next to the cemetery, which is now oalled Pelter Lake Drive #2. _ It is on <br />record that the only street which has that..narne i~ on ~he ~que ~ddition. <br /> <br />Bourquin reque~ted Council to pay part of the recreation equipment for the ball <br />teams in the Villiage. Motion by LaMotte, seconded by Peterson to pay 2/3 <br />of that bill, carried by all. <br /> <br />Council is to meet at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, June 14, to overlook and determine <br />how we will fix up the road on Pelter Lake Drive in the Burque Addition. <br /> <br />Motion by LaMotte seconded by Dupre to pay all outstanding bills, so carried. <br />Motion by Bourquin, seconded by LaMotte to adjourn meeting. <br /> <br />June 14, 1963 <br /> <br />(,. \~ <br />.... <br />" <br /> <br />A special meeting was held on Friday, June 14, 1963, on the Pelter Lake Drive <br />Road to review and start procedure on fixing up the road; it was discussed and <br />agreeable that one <<by 6JJJI culvert would be adequate also a ditch be dug <br />on the east side of t~e rold_to drain to culvert through and out into Pelter Lake. <br />A', ~ iaZ'. foot road with ditch slope was suggested. CUlvert could be taken <br />~rom the beach in which LaMotte, Dupre, and Bourquin surveyed.- It is noted <br />that the lake has dropped and it would be very convenient to pick up these two <br />culverts. It was suggested that LaValle Contruction would do our road work, but <br />at such time the road had to dry in order to get machinery into the area.' <br />Meeting adjourned. - <br />
