<br />c; <br /> <br />May 8, 1963 <br /> <br />The regular monthly meeting was held on Wednesday, May 8,1963- <br />Those present were: hancis Burque, Mayor; Cecil La Motte, Councilman; <br />John Peterson, Councilman; Melvin Dupre, Councilman; Ted Bourquin, <br />Clerk. La Motte made the motion and seconded by Peterson that the <br />reading of last months minutes and also the special meeting would be <br />approved as read. - Carried by all. Mr. Russell will send Peterson <br />the estimate on the ditch digging and at that time a special meeting <br />will be called as soon as Peterson receives the estimate. <br /> <br />New Business: T~ere will be a meeting on June 4, 1963 at 7:30 p.m. <br />on the Board of Review from the assessors on property in the village <br />of Centerville. Motion made by Dupre and Seconded by Peterson to pay <br />all outstanding bills. Motion carried. Motion by Bourquin and <br />seoonded by La Motte to adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />May 21, 1963 <br /> <br />A special meeting was held on May. 21, 1963 at 8:15 p.m.. Those <br />present were hancis l3urque, Mayor; John Peterson, Councilman; Cecil <br />La Motte, Councilman; Ted Bourquin, Clerk. It was noted that hank <br />Priner estimated on digging 1,500 yards at. 16~ a yard. Motion was made <br />by Bourquin to purchase culvert for Peltier Lake Drive #2. This <br />culvert was 18 inches by 40 .feet. Seconded by La Motte. Carried by <br />all. It was requested that Peterson purchase it from Wenick in <br />Forest Lake. Motion .':ina4e:-'by..~l3oUEgJlin..:tQ;~~djourn, seconded by <br />la Motte, so oarried. <br /> <br />June 4, 1963' <br /> <br />The assessors meeting was held on June 4, 1963 at 7:~O p.m.. <br />Those present were: Cecil La Motte, CouncilDian, acting Mayor, Ted <br />BOUrquin, Cl-erk; Fred La Lende, assessor from the village of <br />Centerville; Melvin Depre, Councilman; John Peterson, Councilman; <br />Les S~hKartz, Anob County Chief Property assessor. This meeting <br />was held for the purpose of any complaints or questions on. personna! <br />property tax in the village. Mr. Swartz reviewed all property <br />taxes in village and personnal property and each one was approved <br />by the council. Motion was made by Peterson and seconded by Bourquin <br />to accept the assessors report. Motion carried by all.
