<br />The regular monthly meeting of the village council was held on <br />April.IO, 1963 at 8:15 p.m. Those present were: Francis Burque- <br />Mayor, John Peterson-Councilm~, Cecil La Motte-Councilman, Melvin <br />Dupre-Councilman, Ted Bourquin-Clerlte <br /> <br />C) <br /> <br />Motion by La Motte and seconded by Peterson that the minutes of <br />last meeting be approved as read. <br /> <br />Old Business: There was a table discussion on sewers and roads in the <br />village. A fut~e meeting will be held upon special request. <br /> <br />Mr. Joseph La Casse, Village Planning Chairman, will check on the <br />Twin City Metrop~litan Commission, on whether the villa_ge has to go <br />~ong with the rest of the district on this pro ratta cost. <br /> <br />Wayne Wetterli~d asked to have help on his police work while on <br />duty and he will use his own discression at which ever time would be <br />necessary to have the assistant constible with him. <br /> <br />A request by Harley Hallstrom, co-chairman of the recreation <br />committee to have dirt for the ball diamond and grass cutter. <br />(udirt was brought in by John Petersonfl) Clerk Bourquin was to <br />c~eck on rent of land and road. This w~ put into motion by <br />Bourquin and seconded by La Motte, carried. by all. <br /> <br />It was requested that the clerk send a letter to the hom Count,. t1ittltt$ <br />to ask for tlleir sweeper to come into the main village. to clean the <br />streets off. <br /> <br />Clerk Bourquin made a motion that the following bills.be paid; <br />it was seconded by Duppe. <br /> <br /> <br />Fred La Lande, !seesor ~Olt/" <br />~onald Burque, Snow Removal <br />Wayne Wetterlind, Police Work <br />Melvin Dupre, Village Map <br /> <br />$10.00 <br />21.00 <br />16.50 <br />1.26 <br /> <br />Motion by Bourquin, seconde.d by La.
