Funds Not to Exceed $1.500 for <br />Advertising the 2009 Festival of the Lakes 8K Run <br /> <br />Councilmember Lee stated that he has a notation from City Finance Director Meyer that <br />the money is in the fund, and there is money left in the budget. He stated that the Parks & <br />Recreation Committee members believe the cost would be more than recouped with the <br />runners' entry fees. Councilmember Lee stated that it is very important to work quickly on <br />this. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lee. seconded by Council Member Lakso. to approve <br />funds for the Parks & Recreation Committee. not to exceed 51.500. for advertisine: <br />the 2009 Festival of the Lakes 8K Run. All in favor. Motion carried unanimouslv. <br /> <br />5. Claudia Comstock - Request for a Crosswalk and Signs by the Trail Crossing on <br />Centerville Road <br /> <br />Mayor Capra reported that Claudia Comstock, age 7, came into the City Hall today, <br />August 13, 2008. She brought in a picture of the trail crossing on Centerville Road, by <br />former Mayor Wilharber's house. Ms. Comstock drew a picture by the trail, and stated <br />that there should be a crosswalk and signs to make the crossing safer.
