<br />City of Centerville <br />City Council Meeting <br />September 10, 2008 <br /> <br />Councilmember Paar inquired whether it would work for Mortenson if the Council could <br /> <br />approve the first two phases. <br /> <br />Mr. Morgan indicated that would work for them. <br /> <br />City Attorney Glaser stated that he would recommend approval to 2015 only. <br /> <br />Councilmember Paar stated that he feels good about this being a well-known company. He <br />stated that he would like them to know that the City Council would like to work something <br />out. <br /> <br />Councilmember Broussard-Vickers inquired as to what would be required other than the <br />Site Plan. <br /> <br />Mr. Morgan replied that a building permit would be the only other thing required. <br /> <br />City Engineer Statz stated that, as of today, the City is comfortable with the Site Plan. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Broussard-Vickers. seconded by Council Member Paar. <br />to approve the Site Plan for Mortenson Construction at 6812 - 20th A venue South as <br />recommended by the Plannin!!: and Zonin!!: Commission. All in favor. Motion <br />approved unanimously. <br /> <br />4. Ms. Kelly Vasatla. Edward Jones Transient Sales/Solicitors License - 1 Month <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson reported that everything looks fine with this application. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard-Vickers. seconded by Council Member Paar. <br />to approve the I-Month Transient Sales/Solicitors License for Ms. Kelly Vasatla. <br />Edward Jones. All in favor. Motion approved unanimously. <br /> <br />5. Parks & Recreation Recommendation to Purchase Rock Climbing Wall from <br />Midwest Playscapes/Playworld RBH5-510 or Equivalent - Not to Exceed $5.200 <br />(Conditioned Upon Funds Provided Bv Deadbroke Saddle Club Donation) <br /> <br />Councilmember Lee reported that Parks & Rec. does not yet have the money from the <br />Deadbroke Saddle Club. He stated that this year's revitalization originally called for a <br />climbing wall, but it was pulled out due to a shortage of funds. Parks & Rec. would like to <br />put it back in. He added that this would be a good-sized wall. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson stated that an expenditure of funds would have to be approved <br />by the City Council. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra stated that Park and Rec needs to be in a meeting to make a decision as a <br />Committee.
