The Council later extended the variance for six months, which <br />would expire about September 14, 2008. They are in substantial compliance with the <br />variance, since the home is well along with construction. As a technical matter, the home <br />is not complete and it would be wise to take action to extend the variance to ensure <br />technical compliance with the Council intent. I would recommend that the Council <br />approve extending the variance to December 31, 2008. This action is being placed on the <br />consent agenda. <br />
