City of Centerville <br />City Council Meeting <br />September 10, 2008 <br />Councilmember Paar inquired whether it would work for Mortenson if the Council could <br />approve the first two phases. <br />Mr. Morgan indicated that would work for them. <br />City Attorney Glaser stated that he would recommend approval to 2015 only. <br />Councilmember Paar stated that he feels good about this being awell-known company. He <br />stated that he would like them to know that the City Council would like to work something <br />out. <br />Councilmember Broussard-Vickers inquired as to what would be required other than the <br />Site Plan. <br />Mr. Morgan replied that a building permit would be the only other thing required. <br />City Engineer Statz stated that, as of today, the City is comfortable with the Site Plan. <br />w auu^ vvc Luc ~i~c i ^au ^v^ 111V1 LG11JV11 <.V11JL1 U4L1V11 a~ voic - cv civcuuc wu~u a~ <br />recommended by the Planning and Zoning Commission. All in favor. Motion <br />approved unanimously. <br />4. Ms. Kelly Vasatla, Edward Jones Transient Sales/Solicitors License - 1 Month <br />City Administrator Larson reported that everything looks fine with this application. <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard-Vickers, seconded by Council Member Paar, <br />to approve the 1-Month Transient Sales/Solicitors License for Ms. Kelly Vasatla, <br />Edward Jones. All in favor. Motion approved unanimously. <br />5. Parks & Recreation Recommendation to Purchase Rock Climbing Wall from <br />Midwest Playscapes/Playworld RBHS-510 or Equivalent -Not to Exceed $5,200 <br />(Conditioned Upon Funds Provided By Deadbroke Saddle Club Donation <br />Councilmember Lee reported that Parks & Rec. does not yet have the money from the <br />Deadbroke Saddle Club. He stated that this year's revitalization originally called for a <br />climbing wall, but it was pulled out due to a shortage of funds. Parks & Rec. would like to <br />put it back in. He added that this would be a good-sized wall. <br />City Administrator Larson stated that an expenditure of funds would have to be approved <br />by the City Council. <br />Mayor Capra stated that Park and Rec needs to be in a meeting to make a decision as a <br />Committee. She added that they can hold a special meeting, if they want to do that. <br />Page 6 of 10 <br />
