<br /> <br />tervi{{e <br /> <br />L<;tabllsfi ed- 18-"7 <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> <br />1880 'Main Street, Centerviffe, 'M!N 55038 <br />651-429-3232 or'FtV(651-429-8629 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #08- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION PROVIDING PRELIMINARY ACTION ON THE CITY'S 2030 <br />COMPREHENSIVE PLAN. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The City of Centerville has been working over the past few months with <br />the Planning Commission and City Council to develop a draft future land use to guide <br />growth to 2030, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, public participation was solicited through a community-wide open house to <br />view the proposed draft land use plan and related information on Tuesday, November 13, <br />2007, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the plan was submitted to adjoining jurisdictions for review and comment, <br />and responses were made to those comments received, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Centerville Planning and Zoning Commission on October 7, <br />2008, recommended that the Council take necessary steps to approve the plan and submit <br />it to the Metropolitan Council for their approval. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF <br />CENTERVILLE,NUNNESOTA: <br /> <br />1. Having taken all the required steps to update its 2030 Comprehensive Plan, <br />the Council hereby gives its preliminary approval, subject to Metropolitan <br />Council review and final public hearing. <br />2. Staff shall submit the plan to Metropolitan Council for review and <br />comments. <br />3. Following Metropolitan Council's review, the Council will make any <br />required additional changes and will then hold a public hearing on the plan <br />prior to City Council making its final approval. <br /> <br />Adopted by the City Council ofCenterville, Minnesota, this 12th day of November, 2008. <br /> <br />Mary Capra, Mayor <br /> <br />Attest: <br />Teresa Bender, City Clerk <br /> <br />~ <br />
