We recommend that the City Coundl <br />recommend adoption of the plan dependent on Metropolitan Coundl review <br />and approval and authorize distribution of the plan to the Metropolitan <br />Coundl. <br /> <br />The following items are a required part of the submission to the Metropolitan Council: <br />. Submit one electronic version of the plan on CD <br />. Submit one paper copy version of the plan <br />. Submit the Comprehensive Plan Update Transmittal Form (to be completed by <br />Bonestroo ) <br />. Send updated Comprehensive Plan to adjacent jurisdictions <br /> <br />Status of the Comprehensive Plan Process <br />At the meeting on April 9, 2008, the Oty Council authorized the plan to be sent to <br />neighboring jurisdictions for review and comment. Copies of the plan along with a <br />cover letter were sent to the following jurisdictions: <br /> <br />. City of Lino lakes <br />. City of Hugo <br />. Anoka County <br />Rice Creek Watershed District <br />. Minnesota DNR <br />. Centennial Independent School District #12 <br />. Metropolitan Council (for informal review) <br /> <br />Since that time, Centerville has received comments from the City of Lino Lakes, the <br />City of Hugo the Metropolitan Coundl, Anoka County and Rice Creek Watershed <br />District. The other jurisdictions have all been contacted on multiple occasions to <br />solicit comments. The deadline for submitting comments was October 9, 2008. Since <br />that time, Bonestroo on behalf of Centerville has responded to comments and made <br />necessary changes to the plan. The City Council Is now free to adopt the plan <br />dependent upon Metropolitan Coundl review and approval. <br /> <br />.
