<br />City of Centerville <br />Truth and Taxation Hearing <br />December 2, 2008 <br /> <br />Mayor Capra explained that the property values were established as of January 2, <br />2008, for taxes payable in 2009. The law requires that 25 percent of the <br />properties in each jurisdiction be valued each year and that the City and County <br />have tax valuation hearings in late spring and early summer. <br /> <br />After everyone who wished to do so had been given an opportunity to speak, the <br />hearing was closed. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lakso~ seconded by Council Member Broussard- <br />Vickers~ to close the Truth in Taxation Public Dearine: at 6:26 p.m. All in <br />favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />2. Res. #08- XXX - Calling for a Public Hearing for the 2009 Street Improvement <br />Proiect <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lakso. seconded by Council Member Broussard- <br />Vickers to table the reolution to the next meetine:. All in favor. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />III.
