The applicant must <br />supply any information required pursuant to this chapter for new applications. and will execute written <br />authorizations allowing the city and/or the Chief of Police to yerify these disclosures. <br /> <br />~ 111.22 PROHffiITED CONDITIONS. <br /> <br />Wi CONTESTS OF PUGILISM ON THE PRDvfISES OF LICENSED ESTABLISH}vfENTS IS <br />PROHIBITED. <br /> <br />( 1 ) The Citv Council finds that it is in the best interests of public health. safety and general <br />welfare of the people of the citv that BoxinQ. Ultimate FiQhting or more Qenerallv. contests involvinQ <br />pugilism or batterv arc prohibited as provided in this section on the premises of any establishment <br />licensed under this chapter. This is to protect and assist the owner. operators and employees of the <br />establishment. as well as patrons and the public in general. from haml stemming from the phvsical <br />immediacy and combination of alcohol and violence. The Council especiallv intends to prevent anv <br />endorsement of assaultive behavior or activities likelv to lead to the possibilitv of various criminal <br />conduct. includinl! assault. batterv. threatening behavior. disorderlv conduct. or public nuisance. The <br />Council also finds that the prohibition of contests involving: pugilism or batterv on the premises of any <br />establishment licensed under this chapter. as set [OIih in this section. reflects the prevailing community <br />standards of the c:ity <br /> <br />(2) The City Council finds that it is in the best interests of entorcinl! its Liquor Regulations <br />and policinl! establishments which can serve intoxicating: beverages that the previous Subdivision shall <br />also apply to non-alcoholic events on the licensed premises. <br /> <br />(3) A violation of this section is a misdemeanor punishable as provided by law. and is <br />justification for revocation or suspension of any liquor. wine. or 3.2 percent malt liquor license or the <br />imposition of a civil penalty under the provisions of this chaoter. <br /> <br />L__ <br />
