<br />CHAPTER112: PAWNBROKERS <br /> <br />~ 112.03 LICENSE APPLICATION, BOND AND FEE. <br /> <br />(A) Application. No person shall exercise, carry on or be engaged in the trade or business of <br />pawnbroker, precious metal dealer or Class A or Class B secondhand goods dealer within the city <br />unless the person is currently licensed as provided in this chapter. <br /> <br />(1) Contents. A license applicant must complete an application form provided by the city. <br />The application must be in a form and request information of the applicant as determined by the City <br />Council. ill addition to any information which may be required by the City Council, the application <br />shall contain the following information: <br /> <br />(h) Whether applicant has ever been convicted of, QT~hargf9. w.itlLa felony, gross <br />misdemeanor or misdemeanor, including traffic violations, and if so, the date and place of <br />convictionJhe nature ()f ~he offense'-'.Ill<:!L<:!~Jlti [yi!].g infonn~j..Ql} ~l)cJg'EJic.k~1)1UDlbS'LI)Lca~.t" <br />number; <br /> <br />(5) IY,-ittcl1 AlIIho,-izuliol1s. Each person or business named in or as part of this application <br />shall execute a written authorization allowin?: the city and/or the Chief of Police to verify all <br />information disclosed as part of the application. <br /> <br />CHAPTER 113: PEDDLERS, SOLICITORS AND TRANSIENT MERCHANTS <br /> <br />~ 113.03 LICENSING OR REGISTRATION. <br /> <br />(C) Application. Application for a city license to conduct business as a peddler or transient <br />merchant or to be registered for contribution solicitation shall be made at least 14 days before the <br />applicant proposes to conduct the licensed or registered activity. Application shall be made on forms <br />supplied by the city.
