Backage Road/Property Purchase Option <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that there are still some issues to work out and asked <br />for authorization to seek an extension of time on the purchase option. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Terway, seconded by Council Member Paar to direct <br />Staff to seek an extension on the purchase option to December 31, 2005. All in <br />favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />IX. ANNOUNCEMENTS/UPDATES <br /> <br /> 1. City Administrator – Mr. Dallas Larson <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson asked Council to set a work session to review and discuss the <br />Codification of the Ordinances. <br /> <br />Council directed Staff to set a work session for one hour prior to the next Council <br />meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />2.1601 LaMotte Drive <br /> <br />Mayor Capra asked for Council authorization to work with any and all elected officials <br />on the purchase of the property. <br /> <br />Council agreed. <br /> <br />3. Downtown Redevelopment Planning <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that there would be a meeting on August 30, 2005. <br /> <br /> 4. CSAH 14/Main Street Project <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that he is working on getting a response on the <br />MOU. <br /> <br />5. 2005 Regional Training Session <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that the 2005 Regional Training Session is <br />scheduled for September 14, 2005 from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. for anyone interested in <br />attending. <br /> <br />6. Correspondence <br /> <br />Mayor Capra indicated that there is training on September 7, 2005 at the Humphrey <br />Institute of Public Affairs on development. <br />Page 7 of 8 <br /> <br />
