Cable Channel Text Programming Software (SCALA Upgrade) <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that the City’s cable programming software is at <br />least five or more years old and it is very outdated and may not be able to be maintained <br />for much longer. He then suggested an upgrade utilizing cable funds in an amount not to <br />exceed $4,700. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lee, seconded by Council Member Paar to authorize <br />the SCALA upgrade in an amount not to exceed $4,700. All in favor. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />VIII. OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. Personnel Policy <br /> <br />Council indicated a desire to spend a little more time reviewing the policy to ensure that <br />all suggested changes have been implemented into the latest version of the policy. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lee, seconded by Council Member Lakso to table this <br />discussion to a work session. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> 2. Job Descriptions <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lee, seconded by Council Member Paar to approve the <br />Job Descriptions as presented. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />3. Resolution #05-038 Organizational Chart <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Terway, seconded by Council Member Paar to approve <br />Resolution #05-038 Organizational Chart as presented. All in favor. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />4.Consider Quotes for Water Main Extension – Mound Trail <br /> <br />City Engineer Peterson indicated that the low bidder was Penn Contracting and <br />recommended approval of the bid. He then suggested the City may want to consider <br />upsizing the pipe to allow for better flow at the very end. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra asked Staff to review flow requirements with the Fire Department. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lee, seconded by Council Member Terway to approve <br />the quote from Penn Contracting for the water main extension on Mound Trail as <br />presented by Staff.
