City of Centerville <br />Planning and Zoning Commission <br />January 6, 2009 <br />2. Anoka County Parks -Proposed Visitor Center -Determine Availability of Watermain or <br />Sanitary Sewer <br />City Administrator Larson showed the Commission a slide of where the proposed Visitor Center would <br />be located. He stated that this is for information only, and they would be able to review a building <br />permit. He added that water and sewer are in the general vicinity, but this is not an ideal situation. The <br />City Council would decide whether water and sewer are feasible. The City Council would like to have <br />additional information. Anoka County Parks is not pushing for municipal service. City Administrator <br />Larson stated that the City has a cost for extending the watermain. <br />City Administrator Larson stated that Anoka County Parks was successful in obtaining some grant <br />dollars. <br />Metropolitan Council <br />City Administrator Larson stated that the handout in the Commission's packet was mainly an update. <br />The Metropolitan Council did a review, and will be ready for another review after those changes are <br />completed. City Administrator Larson stated that the Metropolitan Council should have time to review <br />Centerville's plan, because not many cities have submitted their in at this time. <br />VL CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES <br />December 2, 2008, Meeting Minutes <br />Motion by Commissioner Pangell, seconded by Commissioner Parucci, to approve the December <br />2, 2008, Meeting Minutes, as presented. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br />VII. PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEETING ADJOURNMENT <br />Motion by Commissioner Pangell, seconded by Commissioner Mosher, to adiourn the January 6, <br />2009, Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting at 7:50 p.m. All in favor.
