<br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />September 9, 1992 <br />page five <br /> <br />the City Attorney, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mound ~rail PavinQ Bids <br />John Stewart, City Engineer, <br />September 9, 1992 at 10:30 a.m. <br />Trail paving. <br /> <br />presented the bids received on <br />at the City Hall for the Mound <br /> <br />The following audience members asked questions or expressed <br />concern regarding the project: <br />George Haberman, 7288 Mill Roadj <br />Greg Sievert, 7254 Mill Road. <br /> <br />Motion by Buckbee, second by Wilharber per the recommendation of <br />Maier, Stewart and Associates, the City Council awards the bid of <br />$34,099.68 to Metro Pavingj minus Item Number Five in the <br />Schedule of Improvements (bituminous patch) taking out 455 square <br />yards of patching so that the total cost of the project would be <br />$29,344.93, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />1990 Industrial Park Water Extension - Release of Final RetainaQe <br />- Northdale Construction <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Pelton that per the <br />recommendation of the City Engineer the City of Centerville shall <br />release retainage of $3,500.00 from Northdale Construction for <br />restoration completed in the 1990 Industrial Park Water <br />Extension, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Acorn Creek <br />Council member Burgstahler updated the City Council and advised <br />that the Planning and Zoning Commission considered the approval <br />of the plan and zoning last night, September 8, 1992, at the <br />Planning and Zoning Commission meeting. He advised that the <br />Preliminary Plat was approved by the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission by a unanimous vote. He also noted that the proposed <br />zoning for the project was approved by a three to two vote. <br /> <br />The following audience members asked questions and expressed <br />concern regarding the proposed Acorn Creek Development: <br />George Haberman, 7288 Mill Roadj <br />Greg Sievet, 7254 Mill Road. <br /> <br />John Stewart, City Engineer, presented a Preliminary Feasibility <br />Study for the Acorn Creek Development dated September 9, 1992. <br />Mr. Stewart advised that the report had only been completed this <br />day and that it has not been appropriately reviewed. He <br />suggested to the City Council that the document be used for <br />discussion proposes at this meeting and that a final copy with <br />corrections be submitted after said review. <br />
