IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of the <br />City of Centerville held their regular meeting on Monday, <br />December 21, 1992 at the City Hall. <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Burgstahler called the IDeeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />Council members Wilharber, Pelton and Dario were present. Absent <br />was Mayor Buckbee. Also present was Clerk/Administrator Ray <br />Siebenaler. <br /> <br />1. MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion by Council member Wilharber, seconded by Council member <br />Dario to approve the December 9, 1992 City Council minutes as <br />presented. Motion was approved by the following vote: Council <br />members Wilharber, Pelton, Dario. Abstained Council member <br />Burgstahler. <br /> <br />Motion by Council member Pelton, seconded by Council member <br />Wilharber to approve the minutes of the Special Meeting of the <br />City Council Truth In Taxation Hearing for December 3rd and <br />December 10th, 1992, as presented. Motion was approved by the <br />following vote: Council members Wilharber, Pelton, Dario. <br />Abstained Council member Burgstahler. <br /> <br />2. APPEARANCES - WALTER NEUMANN, CENTERVILLE POLICE LIAISON TO <br />THE CIRCLE PINES/LEXINGTON POLICE DEPARTMENT. <br /> <br />Walter Neumann reported that the Circle Pines/Lexington Police <br />Department has contracted with Auto Medics for towing service and <br />that the charges for Centerville residents will be the same as <br />all other cities participating in the agreement. Mr. Neumann <br />also reported that the Community Service Officer position was <br />approved in the 1993 Circle Pines/Lexington Police Department <br />Budget. The position is budgeted to start on April 1, 1993. Mr. <br />Neumann further reported that during the past month he rode with <br />officers from the Circle Pines/Lexington Police Department on all <br />three shifts and assured the City Council that the City of <br />Centerville was getting adequate patrol service on all three <br />shifts. <br /> <br />3. REQUEST FOR VARIANCE - 7169 WEST ROBIN LANE. <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Burgstahler reviewed the past process concerning <br />this variance and stated that upon his review of past Council <br />
