<br />"- <br />~------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />SUPPORTING ANOKA COUNTY DESIGNATION OF MINOR ARTERIALS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Anoka County has prepared and adopted the Anoka County <br />2010 Comprehensive Transportation Plan to address roadway and <br />transit needs, both those which currently exist and those which <br />can be expected over the next twenty years, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the ANoka County 2010 Comprehensive Transportation Plan <br />proposes a Functional Classification System for roadways under <br />its jurtsdiction, which classifies routes as principal arterials, <br />minor arterials, collectors and locals, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, minor arterials are broken into Minor Arterial "A" and <br />Minor Arterial "B: classifications based on route length, <br />spacing, traffic volume and other criteria, and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Centerville has been give the opportunity to <br />review the proposed classification system as it relates to the <br />needs and desires of its citizens; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of <br />Centerville that it supports the proposed classification of Minor <br />Arterial "A" and Minor Arterial "B" routes within the CIty of <br />Centerville that are under the jurisdiction of Anoka County as <br />shown in the Anoka County 2010 Comprehensive Transportation Plan, <br />adopted by the Anoka County Board of Commissioners on June 12, <br />1990. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby authorized <br />and directed to forward one certified copy of this Resolution to <br />the Anoka County Board of Commissioners. <br /> <br />crP' day of Sef)feM b-e r ,1992. <br />, <br /> <br />Dated this <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />May r <br /> <br /> <br />~5T: . <br /> <br />~~i7pl" <br />Clerk/Admi r 0 <br />
