<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the City Council of the <br />City of Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday, <br />August 26, 1992 at the City Hall. Mayor Buckbee called the <br />meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. Present: Burgstahler, Wilharber. <br />Absent: Dario, Pelton. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion by Buckbee, second by Wilharber to table the July 22, 1992 <br />regular scheduled meeting minutes due to lack of quorum to <br />approve said minutes, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Burgstahler to approve the July <br />30, 1992 emergency meeting minutes with the following <br />corrections: <br />Now Reads: "Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the <br />City Council of the City of Centerville held 1 <br />an "emergency" meeting on Thursday, July 31, <br />1992 at City Hall..." <br /> <br />Amend to Read: "Pursuant to due call and <br />City Council of the City <br />an "emergency" meeting on <br />1992 at City Hall..." <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />notice the~eof the <br />of Centerville held <br />Thursday, July 30, <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Burgstahler to table the August <br />12, 1992 regularly scheduled meeting minutes due to lack of <br />quorum to approve said minutes, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />APPEARANCES <br /> <br />Police Chief Dave VanBurkleo~ Police Uodate in Absence of Police <br />Liaison <br />Chief VanBurkleo updated the City Council regarding a Circle <br />Pines/Lexington Police Department. He noted that currently the <br />department is under budget approximately $1,900.00 and it appears <br />it will continue throughout the year. Among other items he also <br />noted things appear to be going very well at the Waterworks Beach <br />Club and the Circle Pines/Lexington Police Department has not <br />received any noise complaints since the issue was last discussed <br />at a City Council meeting. He also noted that teen night is <br />going very well with the police officer on the premise. He <br />commended Richard DeFoe on his cooperation and recommended the <br />City send him a letter of appreciation. Chief VanBurkleo also <br />noted that the fine revenue projections for 1992 appear to be <br />$30,000.00 to $32,000.00. He noted that the fine revenue in 1990 <br />was $12,000.00. It was also estimated that the prosecution costs <br />would be approximately $12,000.00 to $13,000.00. <br /> <br />Council member Wilharber noted that in addition to the increase <br />in receipts of fine revenue the Circle Pines/Lexington Police <br />
