<br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />August 26, 1992 <br />page two <br /> <br />Department appear to be doing a fine job of slowing traffic down. <br /> <br />Mayor Buckbee questioned whether the neighborhood groups had met <br />regarding the Waterworks Beach Club complaints. <br /> <br />Chief VanBurkleo advised that to the best of his knowledge said <br />meetings had not yet been held. <br /> <br />Council member Burgstahler noted <br />positive comments regarding the <br />Department Staff. <br /> <br />that he continues to hear <br />Circle Pines/Lexington Police <br /> <br />Fire Chief Milo Bennett - Amendments to the 1993 Centennial Fire <br />District Budget <br />Chief Bennett explained the common area in Station Number 2 and <br />the equipment disposal approved by the Centennial Fire District <br />Steering Committee. <br /> <br />The common areas consist of a training room, exercise room, <br />office area, public toilets, lobby, command center and 20 parking <br />spaces. The total dollar amount of the common area is <br />$220,000.00. The respective cities would pay this dollar amount <br />proportionately as determined by the Fire District formula at <br />7.12% interest over a time period of 20 years. Taking into <br />account the 1992 Fire District Formula the Centerville share <br />would be 9.6%, Circle Pines - 29.6% and Lino Lakes 60.8%. <br /> <br />With regard to the disposal of vehicles there are five vehicles <br />which will no longer be needed by the department due to new <br />equipment purchases. They are: <br />a 1962 Reo 6x6 (this vehicle was on loan from the <br />Department of Natural Resources and will be sent back <br />to the Department of Natural Resources); <br />a 1956 Ford Pumper Tanker (from the City of Circle <br />Pines which will be returned to the City of Circle <br />Pines) ; <br />a 1962 FWD Pumper <br />this vehicle will <br />into the capital <br />Department) ; <br />a 1969 Ford Tanker (originally came from the City of <br />Centerville and shall be returned to the City of <br />Centerville) ; <br />a 1974 Dodge van (originally came from the City of <br />Centerville and will be returned to the City of <br />Centerville) . <br /> <br />(the property of the Fire District <br />be sold and the funds shall be put <br />equipment account for the Fire <br /> <br />Mayor Buckbee requested that the City retain ownership of the <br />1969 Ford Tanker until such time that a full time Public Works <br />
