<br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />August 12, 1992 <br />page six <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Minnesota Magic Midway, Inc.; said letter shall not be sent until <br />after court action has been resolved, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Council member Dario noted that in spite of the carnival it <br />appears that the Lions Club and the businesses made a profit at <br />the City Celebration. <br /> <br />Block Party - Brian Drive and Brian Way <br />The Clerk/Administrator advised that Mike Davis, 7156 Brian <br />Drive, asked to be placed on this Council Agenda. It was <br />understood the he was to provide City Staff with the details for <br />a block party such as Jthe date, events to take place and whether <br />or not they requested the street to be blocked off. The <br />Clerk/Administrator advised that said information has not yet <br />been received. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Dario to table the consideration <br />of a block party on Brian Drive and Brian Way, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Tripoel's Market - ReQuest to be open 24 hours per day I <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Dario to approve 24 hour operation <br />of Trippel's Market year round per the owners request, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PAYMENT OF CLAIMS <br /> <br />.. !".f ~ <br /> <br />Motion by Buckbee, <br />payment of claims <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />second <br />of the <br /> <br />by Wilharber to make the current <br />City of Centerville, motion carried <br /> <br />Motion by Dario, second by Wilharber to approve the current <br />payment of claims of the Centennial Fire District, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Consolidation <br />Mayor Buckbee noted that on August 20, 1992 the Consolidation <br />Commission will hold a public hearing for Centerville and Lino <br />Lakes residents. He encouraged the Centerville residents to <br />attend and advised he is anxious to hear resident concerns. <br /> <br />ADJOURN <br /> <br />Motion by Buckbee, second by Dario to adjourn the meeting, motion <br />carried unanimously.
