<br />I <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the City Council of the <br />City of Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday, July <br />22, 1992 at the City Hall. Mayor Buckbee called the meeting to <br />order at 7:05 p.m. Present: Dario, Pelton. Absent: <br />Burgstahler, Wilharber. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion by Pelton, second by Dario to table the following meeting <br />minutes: <br /> <br />June <br />July <br />July <br />motion carried <br /> <br />24, 1992; <br />8, 1992; <br />15, 1992, <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />APPEARANCES <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Ted qonsior. Centerville's North Central Cable T.V. <br />Re~resentative <br />Ted Gonsior, Centerville's North Central Cable T.V. <br />Representative appeared before the City Council to address the <br />transfer/control of the North Central Cable Communication <br />Corporation. Mr. Gonsior addressed a letter from Thomas D. <br />Creighton of Bernick and Lifson, Attorney at Laws. Mr. Gonsior <br />also advised that the buyers from Iowa appeared to be easier to <br />work with and that the Cable Commission is pleased with the <br />transfer. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />Center Hills - Third Addition <br />John Stewart, City Engineer, presented a <br />1992 regarding the bid results <br />Addition/Assessment Roll. A copy of this <br />the Clerk/Administrator. <br /> <br />letter dated July 22, <br />Center Hills, Third <br />letter is on file with <br /> <br />Mr. Stewart also addressed the addition of extending municipal <br />water to the petitioned Wegleitner property by change order. He <br />advised if the water were to go on to Main Street it would be <br />appropriate to extend the lateral lines up and loop through the <br />Weglietner Addition. He advised however that this looping would <br />tie up City funds and if the persons on Main Street would not use <br />the water, there would be no benefit at this time. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Gerald Rehbein, Developer of the Center Hills, Third Addition, <br />was present at the meeting. He advised that the assessments <br />appear to be higher than anticipated. He requests that City <br />Council Liaisons meet with him to negotiate a possible price <br />reduction. It was also noted that there is concern about pushing <br />the project back if it is desired to obtain driving surfaces on <br />the development this year. <br />
