<br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />July 22, 1992 <br />page two <br /> <br />Motion by Pelton, second by Dario to provide notice of award for <br />construction of improvements on the Center Hills, Third Addition, <br />the extension of the municipal building and municipal water well <br />water extension and valve work at the water tower park to Ro-So <br />Contracting, Inc., contingent upon a satisfactory negotiation of <br />a possible cost split on the temporary lift station and/or other <br />improvements on the Center Hills, Third Addition, by the <br />appropriate City Council members, staff and Gerald Rehbein, <br />Developer, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Pelton, second <br />Ro-So Contracting, Inc., <br />Weglietner Addition along <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />by Dario to approve a change order to <br />to include water extension to the <br />Mill Road with municipal water, motion <br /> <br />Munici~al Building/Shad Avenue Extension <br />Motion by Buckbee, second by Pelton to direct appropriate City <br />Staff to draft easement rights to the City of Centerville for an <br />extension of Shad Avenue onto the municipal facility site for a <br />dedicated street right-of-way for public purposes, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Peltier Lake Drive Culvert <br />John Stewart, City Engineer, advised that he has been informed by <br />telephone by the Department of Natural Resources that they see no <br />problem with the improvement of the Peltier Lake Drive culvert <br />and advised that they have no jurisdictional input in the matter. <br /> <br />Rice Creek Water Shed District Billin~ <br />Motion by Pelton, second by Wilharber to table discussion of a <br />draft Rice Creek Water Shed District letter regarding the billing <br />for the proposed Flood Plain Reduction Project, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Munici~al Buildin~ <br />John Stewart, City Engineer, advised that the parking lot and <br />driveway of the municipal facility as originally proposed by the <br />contractor appeared to be light. He advised that he is working <br />with the contractor on a compromise from the proposal and City <br />Street Standards. <br /> <br />Mayor Buckbee advised that the building will be comprised of a <br />fire hall and some city facilities. Mayor Buckbee further <br />advised that the current City Hall shall be open during the City <br />Celebration so that persons may view the current facilities and <br />the proposed plans of the new building. <br /> <br />Mike Davis, 7156 Brian Drive, was present and asked questions <br />regarding the new building. Mr. Davis inquired as to whether the <br />guaranteed maximum price would include furnishings and if not how <br />
