<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the City <br />City of Centerville held their regular meeting on <br />27, 1992 at the City Hall. Mayor Buckbee called <br />order at 7:10 p.m. Present: Burgstahler, <br />Wilharber. <br /> <br />Council of the <br />Wednesday, May <br />the meeting to <br />Dario, Pelton, <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Pelton to approve the minutes with <br />the following correction: <br />Now Reads: ". ..He advised that it appears that the <br />Board of Managers is no longer concerned <br />that the project should not move forward <br />because it would conflict with Rice <br />Creek Watershed District policy to <br />reduce a flood plain area. <br /> <br />Amend to Read: - ".. .He advised that it appears that the <br />Board of Managers no longer feels that <br />the project should not move forward <br />because it would conflict with Rice <br />Creek Watershed District policy to <br />reduce a flood plain area." <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />APPEARANCES <br /> <br />Fence Construction Reauest - 1709 Main Street <br />Audrey Burque, 1709 Main Street, appeared before the City Council <br />to request that she be allowed to put up a six foot fence on her <br />property line. <br /> <br />The Staff advised that Ms. Burque may be able to complete the <br />request without permission from the City Council if she were to <br />be in compliance with Ordinance #4, Section 25.11 FENCES. The <br />Clerk/Administrator advised that it if Ms. Burque were in need of <br />a variance that the City staff would assist her conjunction with <br />the City Building Inspector. <br /> <br />Dan Henderson. Centerville Police Liaison <br />Mr. Henderson gave an update on the Circle Pines/Lexington Police <br />Department activities within the City of Centerville. He noted <br />that the Waterworks Bar has now hired an on-duty police officer <br />to be present at the Sunday Teen Nights. Mr. Henderson advised <br />that a bike rodeo would be held this coming Saturday, May 30, <br />1992 at the Centerville Elementary School. Mr. Henderson <br />submitted a letter of resignation from his position as the <br />Centerville Police Liaison. <br /> <br />Motion by Buckbee, second by Wilharber to accept the resignation <br />of Dan Henderson as the Centerville Police Liaison to the Circle <br />Pines/Lexington Police Department, noting that this acceptance is <br />with regrets, that Mr. Henderson has been very helpful and that <br />he should be commended for the amount of time that he has put <br />
