<br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />May 27, 1992 <br />page five <br /> <br />Section 5.06: <br />NOW READS: <br />- Overtime hours will be calculated as follows: <br />_ Administrative staff on the basis of 40 hours <br />per week, <br />_ Public Works Employees on the basis of 8 hours <br />per day. <br /> <br />AMEND TO READ: <br />- Overtime hours will be <br />- Full time staff <br />week, <br />- Part time staff on <br /> <br />calculated as follows: <br />on the basis of 40 hours per <br /> <br />the basis of 8 hours per day. <br /> <br />Section 5.07: <br />NOW READS: <br />_ Administrative employees shall be paid monthly the <br />last day of each month. Public Works employees <br />shall be paid the day after the first City Council <br />of each month. When a payday falls on a holiday, <br />employees shall receive their pay the preceding <br />work day. <br /> <br />AMEND TO READ: <br />- Administrative <br />the day <br />meetings. <br /> <br />employees shall be paid bi-monthly, <br />after regularly scheduled Council <br />last day of each month. <br /> <br />Section 7.01: <br />NOW READS: <br />Amount allowed. Every permanent employee employed <br />for one (1) year or more shall earn vacation pay <br />based upon Calculation A: the average number of <br />hours worked per week in the preceding calendar <br />year (earned vacation hours), multiplied by the <br />current hourly wage, not to exceed forty (40) <br />hours per week. Permanent part time employees. <br />Employees who currently average over 15 hours per <br />week and have been employed with the City in for <br />five years or more, shall receive monetary <br />compensation which is double that of Calculation <br />A. <br /> <br />Full time employee. Employees who have been <br />employed with the City for five years or <br />more, shall receive compensation (monetary or <br />paid time off as appropriate) which is double <br />that of Calculation A. <br />
