<br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />May 27, 1992 <br />page ten <br /> <br />On Sale Liquor License <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Buckbee to direct City Staff to <br />research revenue that could be generated from an amendment to the <br />On Sale Liquor License fees; the City Staff shall obtain the <br />square footage of the bars within the City. of Centerville to <br />include deck areas, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Check Cashin~ Policy <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Dario to table discussion of the <br />proposed check cashing policy until the end of June when the <br />Circle Pines/Lexington Police Chief can be in attendance to <br />discuss the policy with the City Council, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />North Metro Recreation Commission Bud~et <br />Council member Pelton recommend that the Park and Recreation <br />Committee consider removing the annual budget amount of the North <br />Metro Recreation Commission from the Centerville Park and <br />Recreation budget to be place in the City general fund. <br /> <br />Emplovee Point Review <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Wilharber to approve the <br />following items regarding personnel salary and points as per the <br />recommendation of the Employee Review Board: <br />1. Point value increase to $0.055, effective June 1, 1992; <br /> <br />2. Freezing Orv Hughes' salary at current level of $10.88. <br />This decision based on the fact that he is currently <br />being paid based on his position as the part time <br />Public Works Director. A new full time Public Works <br />Director will be hired and that individual will <br />recommend future work duties and compensation for all <br />department members. <br /> <br />3. Full Time Public Works Director point range: <br />Comparable Worth % mix - <br />Administrator/Manager 20% <br />Public Works Supervisor 80% <br /> <br />Job Point Range <br /> <br />Administrator Manager 446-496 20% <br />Public Works Supervisor 199-218 80% <br />Centerville Public Works Director <br /> <br />89- 99 <br />159-174 <br />248-273 <br /> <br />4. Points for Centerville Clerk/Administrator be set at <br />291, effective June 1, 1992. This decision based on <br />the job range previously provided by Council member <br />Burgstahler, i.e. 279-296. The increase of points <br />
