If an employee must work on a designated <br />paid holiday, he/she shall receive "time off" <br />equal to the average number of hours worked per <br />day in the preceding year versus monetary <br />compensation, not to exceed eight (8) hours per <br />day. The "time off" shall be taken within 12 <br />months of the date of the paid holiday or the <br />employee shall forfeit such "time off". <br /> <br />When the paid holidays fall on Sunday, the <br />following Monday is a paid holiday, and if such <br />day falls on Saturday the preceding Friday <br />(Thursday) is a holiday. <br /> <br />Section 20: <br />NOW READS: <br />Penalty.
