<br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />A p r- i 1 22, 1992 <br />Page Four- <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Amendment to Kelly's Korner LiQuor License to Include New Deck <br />Area <br />Bill Bisek, owner of Kelly's Kor-ner, was available to address <br />questions and concerns of the City Council. Mr. Bisek noted that <br />the deck would be 25 feet x 50 feet and be built to code. He <br />advised that the deck is enclosed and that the yard area is also <br />fenced in to prevent the removal of alcoholic beverages from the <br />property. He noted that he has spoken to abutting property <br />owners. If the deck appears to be a problem he may have to <br />restrict the hours of the deck use. He noted that there are <br />lights'on the deck of the building, but not in the yard area. He <br />advised that the deck will not be used on a full time basis, <br />mostly for special functions until he can see which direction <br />with which to go. He advised that he would like to work with the <br />City Council and the neighbors. He noted that his goal is to <br />stop problems before they happen. <br /> <br />Mayor Buckbee advised that the City Council would aggressively <br />pursue any problems that would occur. <br /> <br />Mr. Bisek also noted that the only access to the deck area is <br />through the bar and that no music will be piped out onto the deck <br />area. <br /> <br />Motion by Dario, second by Buckbee to amend the Liquor License of <br />the Kelly's Korner to include the attached deck area, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MaQnetic Locator <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Dario to approve the purchase of a <br />magnetic locator as recommended by Orville Hughes, Public Works <br />Director; the low bid to be with the Water Products Company in <br />the amount of $600.00 for an LS300 Heathtech Magnetic Locator, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ResiQnation Centerville Economic Development Task Force <br />Chairperson Charles Brenner <br />Motion by Buckbee, second by Dario to recognize Charles Brenner's <br />valuable contribution to the Centerville Economic Development <br />Task Force, the City will feel a loss with the lack of his <br />presence and to authorize the City Staff to advertise in the Quad <br />Community Press to fill the position, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Pelton to approve the following <br />Ccn..nt A;.nda items' <br />
