<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the City Council of the <br />City of Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday, <br />April 8, 1992 at the City Hall. Mayor Buckbee called the meeting <br />to order at 7:05 p.m. Present: Burgstahler, Dario, Pelton, <br />Wilharber. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Pelton to approve the March 11, <br />1992 City Council meeting minutes, AYE - Dario; AYE - Pelton; <br />AYE Wilharber; ABSTAIN - Buckbee; ABSTAIN - Burgstahler, <br />motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Burgstahler to approve the March <br />25, 1992 City Council meeting minutes, AYE - Burgstahler; AYE- <br />Pelton; AYE - Wilharber; ABSTAIN - Buckbee; ABSTAIN - Dario, <br />motion carried. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />MuniciDal Well II <br />John Stewart, City Engineer, was available to address the Plans <br />and Specifications for the municipal well construction. Mr. <br />Stewart advised that the well would be in Northeast corner of the <br />property and would be 60 feet from the North property line and 60 <br />feet away from the East (side) property line. He noted the <br />Northern States Power easement along the east property line. Mr. <br />Stewart advised that a 14 inch hole would be drilled and test <br />pumped. He noted that the water generated from the test would be <br />pumped into Clearwater Creek. This would be for approximately a <br />three day period, 24 hours per day. Mr. Stewart advised that he <br />has spoken with the Rice Creek Watershed District and that they <br />would not be objectionable to this test pumping and recommend <br />that the City run a swale to the Creek for this purpose. <br /> <br />Council member Burgstahler suggested that Mr. Stewart obtain the <br />above in writing from the Rice Creek Watershed District. <br /> <br />Mr. Stewart advised that it would cost approximately $40,000 to <br />drill the hole, $25,000 for the pump and controls and <br />approximately $35,000 for the block building. <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Dario to note receipt of the <br />Plans and Specifications of the Second Municipal Well <br />Construction and direct the City Engineer and Clerk/Administrator <br />to work together to advertise for bids to be opened on April 30, <br />1992 at 10:00 a.m., motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Inflow/Infiltration <br />John Stewart, City Engineer, was present to address a report on <br />Waste Water Collection System Inflow/Infiltration dated March <br />1992 prepared by Maier, Stewart and Associates.
