<br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />April 8, 1992 <br />page two <br /> <br />advised that the long term utility of facilities, policies and <br />penalties may be more significant with regard to possible action <br />by the City Council. <br /> <br />Motion by Pelton, second by Burgstahler to direct the City Staff <br />to review a Lino Lakes Ordinance regarding sump pump and draft a <br />similar ordinance for the City of Centerville, motion <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />The City Council also <br />Waconia with regard to <br />sanitary sewer systems. <br /> <br />received information from the City of <br />the disconnection of sump pumps from the <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Pelton to direct the City Staff <br />to prepare a single page flier for the next City Newsletter <br />regarding sump pumps, advising residents of sump pump <br />requirements and giving them direction not to pump the water in <br />the streets, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Buckbee called a recess at 7:50 p.m. <br /> <br />Meeting reconvened at 8:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Curb Re~air/Catch Basins and Value Box ReDair <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Dario to authorize Ro-So <br />Contracting Inc., to repair curb, catch basins and value boxes as <br />identified in their proposal dated April 2, 1992 for a cost not <br />to exceed $3,175.00, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Council member Pelton requested that control or expansion joints <br />be installed in all curb repair. <br /> <br />Storm Draina2e Fees <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Dario to table options for Storm <br />Drainage Fees until a future City Council meeting, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />The City Council shall review the proposed options and be <br />prepared to discuss them at said future Council meeting. <br /> <br />Council member Wilharber noted that the City is currently looking <br />at a ditch cleaning project and monies are needed to fund that <br />project. He suggested the City Council be proactive in its <br />discussions of storm drainage fees. <br /> <br />Municipal Facilities <br />Council member Pelton noted that the Building Task Force is not <br />pleased with the services of the Carlstrom Company. She noted <br />that the Architectural Contract is not yet signed and that the <br />schematic work is not yet complete. She advised that it appears <br />
