<br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />March 11, 1992 <br />page five <br /> <br />Council member Dario noted that he is not <br />Trippel's Market to be open 24 hours per <br />through Labor Day. <br /> <br />opposed to allowing <br />day, Memorial Day <br /> <br />Council member Wilharber noted that he. does not have a problem <br />with allowing Trippel's Market to be open 24 hours per day,. <br />Memorial Day through Labor Day, but would like to hold off on the <br />request for year round 24 hour per day operation to see if there <br />are resident complaints. <br /> <br />The City Staff noted that the City Hall had received a phone call <br />from one of the neighbors of Trippel's Market expressing <br />opposition to the 24 hour extension. That neighbor did not <br />express opposition to the extension of the hours of 5:00 a.m. to <br />11:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Pelton asked <br />control the noise. <br /> <br />that the Trippel's Market clerks help <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second <br />Pringle, Trippel's Market, <br />Day though Labor Day and to <br />remaining days of the year, <br /> <br />by Dario to grant permission to Lori <br />to be open 24 hours per day, Memorial <br />open at 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. the <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Allocation <br />Motion by Pelton, second by Dario to allocated the Community <br />Development Block Grant funds equally (1/3) or an appropriation <br />in a percentage satisfactory to the program to the following <br />organizations: <br />Alexandria House, Inc. for the Emergency Shelter <br />Program; <br />Anoka County Community Action Program, Inc. (ACCAP) to <br />purchase a multi-family property of 4-6 two (2) bedroom <br />units and to contract with a housing service provider; <br />RISE for either the semi-automatic skin packaging <br />machine or a 15 passenger van, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Weltand Delineation - Henderson Ditch <br />Motion by Pelton, second by Dario to authorize Maier, Stewart and <br />Associates to prepare a Wetland Delineation Study for the Rice <br />Creek Watershed District on the Almendinger property near the <br />ditch for a cost not to exceed $500.00, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />
