<br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />February 12, 1992 <br />page five <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Community Develo~ment Block Grant <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Wilharber to hold the public <br />hearing for the 1992 Community Development Block Grant on <br />February 26, 1992 or the next appropriate meeting date, letters <br />from various eligible organizations requesting contributions <br />would be reviewed at the public hearing, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Letter to State Le2islatures <br />Council member Pelton is drafting a letter for City Council to <br />review to be sent to the State Legislators. This letter will be <br />available at the next City Council meeting. <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Buckbee, second by Dario to approve the following <br />Consent Agenda Items: <br />Anoka Countv Joint Powers Aereement Recvclin2 for 1991 <br />SCORE FUNDING <br />A copy is on file with the Clerk/Administrator. <br />Aooointment of the Circle Pines/Lexin2ton Police <br />Officers <br />A copy of this is attached to and made part of these <br />minutes. <br />Wetland Session <br />City Council members are authorized to attend a Wetland <br />Session sponsored by the Minnesota Board of Water and <br />Soil Resources due to the mandate that the Minnesota <br />Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts <br />provide education training on Wetland Conservation Act <br />of 1991. A copy is on file with the <br />Clerk/Administrator. <br />Land Use Planning Workshops <br />The City Council, City Staff, Planning and Zoning <br />Commission and Centerville Economic Development Task <br />Force members are authorized to attend the upcoming <br />Land Use Planning Workshops sponsored by the Government <br />Training Services. A copy is on file with the <br />Clerk/Administrator. <br />Suoolemental Solid Waste Abatement Grant Pr02ram <br />This agreement is for cities that have obtained their <br />recycling goals and would entitle Centerville to <br />additional recycling money. The City Council approves <br />said agreement. A copy is on file with the <br />Clerk/Administrator. <br />1993 Centennial Fire District Bud2et <br />The City Council approved the 1993 Centennial Fire <br />District Budget.
