<br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br />NOVEMBER 23, 1992 <br />PAGE SIX <br /> <br />Stephen Wynn pointed out the area of ponding on a Municipal <br />Building Site Plan. Mayor Buckbee noted that one of the Wynn.s <br />driveways encroach upon the City property. <br /> <br />Motion by Pelton, second by Wilharber that the drainage concern <br />should be temporarily fixed now and that the concern shall be <br />permanently addressed next spring", when weather conditions are <br />more favorable; Al Mjorud and/or Gilbert Construction shall <br />clarify to the City Council their plans regarding both the <br />temporary and permanent correction measures; motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Office Furniture <br />Council member Wilharber noted that the current City Hall office <br />furniture could be updated with electro static spraying. He <br />noted that the costs would be $42 for a desk, $32 for a four <br />drawer file and $37 for a five drawer file. <br /> <br />Council members Pelton and Burgstahler suggested waiting to <br />consider this option until after the move to the new building. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS <br />Council member Burgstahler noted that the dirt has not been <br />removed from creek area on the Stevens Property on 7007 20th <br />Avenue South. He further noted that the pile of dirt appears to <br />have gotten larger. He would like to see the City provide <br />appropriate notice and be prepared to follow through. <br /> <br />Council member Wilharber questioned whether the dirt pile is now <br />larger and suggested that the City double check to be sure. <br /> <br />Staff will investigate this concern. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Consent Ajlenda <br />Motion by Buckbee, second by Wilharber to approve the following <br />consent agenda items: <br />- Set the assessment hearing date for the Wegleitner water <br />extension to be December 9, 1992 or as appropriate. <br />- Set the assessment hearing date for the Englund Water <br />Extension to be December 9, 1992 or as appropriate. <br />- Certify 7082 Progress Road for non pavment of costs <br />incurred by the City of Centerville for a storm <br />drainage issue; the cost incurred by the City is <br />$45.00; a $25.00 fee will be added for the cost of <br />certification to Anoka County. <br />
