<br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br />NOVEMBER 23, 1992 <br />PAGE FIVE <br /> <br />Motion by Pelton, second by Burgstahler to authorize staff to <br />obtain an appraisal on the LaMotte Estate land which abuts the <br />east boundary of Central Park; the appraiser shall be hired on <br />service abilities and references, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />L~Allier Estates Bridee/Pathway <br />Council member Pelton noted that she met with Neil Reisdorfer, <br />Park and Recreation Committee Member and John McClellan, <br />Centennial School District Superintendent to discuss the <br />feasibility of purchasing, constructing and maintaining a <br />pathwayjbridge through Lot 6, Block 1 L~Allier Estates and across <br />Clearwater Creek to access the school property. <br /> <br />Ms. Pelton noted that <br />interested in the project. <br />December 7, 1992 School <br />noted that this is a <br />consideration. The path should be eight feet <br />wide and fencing should address some concerns of abutting <br />property owners. <br /> <br />Motion by Pelton, second by Burgstahler to direct City staff to <br />investigate with the property owner the feasibility of entering <br />into a purchase agreement with a 120 day option and $200 in <br />earnest monies; staff has the flexibility to negotiate to a 90 <br />day option and/or $500 in earnest monies if necessary, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS <br />Water Drainaee Concern - 1862 Main Street <br />Connie and Stephen Wynn, 1862 Main Street submitted a letter <br />dated November 11, 1992 to the City Council outlining a drainage <br />concern that has occurred since the construction and ground work <br />of the new Municipal Building has taken place. <br /> <br />A copy of this letter is on file with the Clerk/Administrator. <br />
