<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of the <br />City of Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday, <br />November 11, 1992 at City Hall. Mayor Buckbee called the meeting <br />to order at 7:05 p.m. Present: Dario, Pelton, Burgstahler; <br />Absent: Wilharber. <br /> <br />Motion by Buckbee, second by Pelton to approve the October 14, <br />1992 meeting minutes with the following correction: <br />page four, paragraph six <br />now reads: <br />" ...It is further his recommendation that due to <br />the time of year and the work to be completed <br />that the work to be completed that a change <br />order <br />amend to read: <br /> <br />" ...It is further his recommendation that due to <br />the time of year and the work to be completed <br />that a change order ..... <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Pelton, second by Burgstahler to approve the October <br />19, 1992 emergency meeting minutes, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Pelton to approve the November <br />4, 1992 meeting minutes, motion carried unanimously_ <br /> <br />APPEARANCES <br />Walter Neumann, Centerville Police <br />Pines/Lexin~ton Police Department. <br />Mr. Neumann updated the City Council <br />activities. He will be attending <br />meeting tomorrow evening. <br /> <br />Liaison to the Circle <br /> <br />on the Police Department <br />the next Police Commission <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Acorn Creek Develo~ment Sketch Plan <br />Council member Burgstahler updated the City Council on what the <br />Acorn Creek subcommittee has accomplished since the October 27, <br />1992 Joint Council/Commission/Committee meeting. <br /> <br />~. <br /> <br />He noted that following findings and recommendations of the <br />subcommittee: <br />- A large park adjacent to Central Park is preferable to a <br />large park in the Acorn Creek area. Park land should <br />be obtained with the approval of an Acorn Creek <br />Development, to a smaller scale such as a residential <br />park. <br />- Remaining issue appeared to be whether the pond would be <br />wet or dry. A goal is to save as many trees as <br />possible and to have a wet pond. <br />- Structurally a section of Mill Road needs to be rebuilt. <br />If that section were to be relocated, the Developer <br /> <br />/.. <br />
