<br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br />OCTOBER 14, 1992 <br />PAGE EIGHT <br /> <br />the part time Centerville Public Works Director during the <br />interim period until a full time Public Works Director can be <br />employed that the City Council grants a bonus to Mr. Hughes in <br />the amount of $232.00, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Carlstrom Group Small Claims Court Settlement <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Buckbee to approve an out of <br />court settlement in the amount $1,360.00 to cover the costs of a <br />Remodel Versus New Build Report that the Carlstrom Group <br />completed for the City of Centerville, to include the cost filing <br />fees in Small Claims Court, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />It was noted that Mr. Carlstrom had originally requested an <br />additional $5,000.00 from the City of Centerville for work he had <br />completed with regard to the municipal building project. <br /> <br />Lake Sanitation - Volume Base Billin2 <br />Motion by Buckbee, second by Burgstahler to direct the <br />Clerk/Administrator and Solid Waste Liaisons to make it known to <br />Lake Sanitation that the City of Centerville does not want to <br />place a restriction on the number of pounds on each container as <br />this does not appear to be a part of the original agreement with <br />the City of Centerville regarding volume based billing; It is <br />the understanding of the City of Centerville that the containers <br />shall be limited to 30 gallons each; and Lake Sanitation is <br />requested to correct the stickers appropriately, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Council member Pelton suggested that may be the City Council <br />could readdress the pound issue when the Lake Sanitation contract <br />is next up for renewal. <br /> <br />1990 Census <br />The Clerk/Administrator advised that the official census books <br />are now out and would that the City Hall does have a copy on file <br />for public viewing. <br /> <br />Common Grounds <br />The Clerk/Administrator noted that the Police Common Grounds <br />Committee is moving positively and that three dates have <br />suggested for meeting to try to address the issue. <br /> <br />PAYMENT OF CLAIMS <br /> <br />Motion by Buckbee, second by Burgstahler to approve the current <br />payment of claims for the City of Centerville except for the <br />check to Howard Bohanon for the release of escrow in the amount <br />of $2,300.00, said check shall be release contingent upon and <br />
